A place in New York
Fifth Avenue
1910Fifth AvenueThe avenue Nick likes to walk up in the evenings, where a Sunday afternoon feels almost pastoral in chapter 2 and where he meets Tom Buchanan for the last time in chapter 9.
We drove over to Fifth Avenue, warm and soft, almost pastoral, on the summer Sunday afternoon. I wouldn't have been surprised to see a great flock of white sheep turn the corner.
